How do I change my email account password?
- Open your browser and go to your Webmail login page by typing:
yourdomain.com/webmail(e.g.,nextelsystems.com/webmail)
Enter your full email address and password, then click Log in.
- Click on your the cPanel icon in the menu
Once logged in, click the cPanel icon from the Webmail dashboard. This will take you to your account configuration settings.
- Go to Password & Security
In the account settings, click on Password & Security.
- Change Your Password
– First, enter your current password.
– Then, type your new password and confirm it.
– Click Save to apply the changes
Now you’ve successfully changed your email account password.
Tips for a Strong Password:
To make your email account more secure, follow these best practices when setting a new password:
- Use at least 8–12 characters
- Mix uppercase, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols
- Avoid obvious words like “password” or your name
- Do not reuse passwords from other accounts
