Installing WordPress through Softaculous in your cPanel is one of the easiest ways to get your site up and running in just a few clicks.

Step-by-Step Guide:

Step 1: Log in to cPanel

• Access your cPanel via:
  https://yourdomain.com:2083
  or
  yourdomain.com/cpanel
• Enter your username and password provided by your hosting provider (e.g., Nextel Systems).

Step 2: Locate Softaculous Apps Installer

• In the cPanel dashboard, scroll down to the “Software” section.
• Click on Softaculous Apps Installer or simply look for the WordPress icon under “Top Scripts”.

Step 3: Choose WordPress

• Click on the WordPress logo.
• You’ll be taken to the WordPress installation page.
• Click the Install Now button.

Step 4: Configure Installation Settings

• Choose Protocol: Select https:// if you have SSL installed, otherwise choose http://.
• Choose Domain: Select the domain where you want to install WordPress.
• In Directory: Leave this blank to install WordPress in the root domain (e.g., yourdomain.com). If you enter a name like blog, it will install under yourdomain.com/blog.

Step 5: Site Settings

• Site Name: Enter your website’s name.
• Site Description: Short tagline or description.
• (You can change these later in your WordPress dashboard.)

Step 6: Admin Account

• Set up your WordPress admin login:
  • Username
  • Password
  • Email
• Keep these safe — you’ll use them to log into WordPress later.

Step 7: Choose Language & Plugins (Optional)

• Select your preferred site language.
• Optionally, choose to install recommended plugins or themes.

Step 8: Select Theme & Install

• You can choose a default theme now or leave it for later.
• Click Install to begin.

Done!
