🛠 Step-by-Step: Installing via cPanel
- Log in to cPanel
- Go to:
yourdomain.com/cpanel - Enter your login credentials
- Go to:
- Open the Softaculous App Installer
- Scroll to the Software section
- Click on Softaculous Apps Installer
- Select WordPress
- In Softaculous, click on the WordPress icon (it’s usually listed under Blogs)
- Click the Install button
- Configure WordPress Installation Settings
- Choose Protocol: Select
http://orhttps://based on your SSL configuration - Choose Domain: Select the domain you want to install WordPress on
- Directory: Leave blank if you want WordPress installed on your main domain (e.g.,
yourdomain.com). If you want it installed in a subdirectory (e.g.,yourdomain.com/blog), enter the folder name (e.g.,blog). - Site Name: Enter your website’s name (you can change this later)
- Site Description: Add a brief description of your site (optional)
- Admin Username: Create a username for your WordPress admin account
- Admin Password: Set a secure password for your admin account
- Admin Email: Enter your email address (used for WordPress notifications)
- Choose Protocol: Select
- Choose the Theme (Optional)
- You can choose a default theme during installation, or you can skip this and pick one later.
